4K 360° raw video in NYC walking from Columbus Circle to Times Square. I was actually curious how this video would turn out since I've never done a proper walk with this camera yet, and because I had to hold the camera so awkwardly I got some interesting reactions from it! I'm impressed with its performance, though I still prefer shooting video in traditional format.

What are wind tunnels? And how do they help researchers design and test next-generation aircraft and spacecraft? This interactive 360° animation takes you inside the Unitary Plan Wind Tunnel at NASA’s Ames Research Center in Silicon Valley. The facility is one of seven wind tunnels located at Ames for exploring the complex physics of flight.

The video features a four percent scale model of NASA’s most powerful rocket, the Space Launch System, or SLS. Two SLS models--one silver and one pink--appear in the video. The latter is coated with a special paint to track surface pressure readings during testing. Once built, the SLS rocket will be capable of sending astronauts on bold new missions into deep space.

After launching to the International Space Station on Nov. 12, 2017, NASA's Optical Communications and Sensor Demonstration, or OCSD, CubeSat mission was deployed from the Cygnus cargo resupply ship and into low-Earth orbit. The pair of bread loaf-size satellites tested the first high-speed data downlink from a CubeSat to a ground station using lasers. The satellites also flew relatively close together to test proximity operations.

This demonstration is a step toward future missions where multiple small spacecraft operate cooperatively during science and exploration missions, approach each other or another object for in-space observation or servicing, and connect together to form larger systems or networks in space.

A wild Eurasian beaver, Milly, gives our 360° camera a little inspection. Milly was part of the Scottish beaver trial, a pioneering programme in bringing back the beaver to Scotland, 500 years after its extinction.

How sensible is it to bring back an animal which disappeared from our landscape 500 years ago? 'Beavers and Bagpipes' explores the reintroduction of the Eurasian beaver back into the wilds of Scotland. However, releasing an animal which completely alters the landscape to make itself at home isn't always welcomed with open arms. Anthony De Unger travels with you to get to the bottom of issue for the first time in full 360 degrees.

The Jabaliya refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip is home to more than 110,000 refugees, according to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).

Among them are children, so many that the camp’s 20 schools work double shifts to accommodate them all. Some children are third-generation refugees, whose grandparents settled in the region in the late 1940s.

While the UNRWA cites that the area has been plagued with air strikes, unemployment, and severe water contamination, for the children, life goes on as they play in the narrow alleys and rooftops of the only home they’ve ever known.

Every morning, Asir Uddin Qureshi stuffs two big plastic bags with leftover meat from a butcher's shop and sells it in the narrow by-lanes of Ajmeri Gate. The meat that he sells facilitates a decades-old tradition of feeding Black Kites and other birds of prey in Old Delhi.

People in the area claim that this tradition dates back to the days when Old Delhi was called Shahjahanabad and continues to this day.

They believe that feeding these birds from the rooftop of one's house brings good luck to the family.

Two days before Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico, the NASA-Japan Global Precipitation Measurement Core Observatory satellite captured a 3-D view of the storm. At the time Maria was a Category 1 hurricane. The 3-D view reveals the processes inside the hurricane that would fuel the storm's intensification to a category 5 within 24 hours.

For the first time in 360-degrees, this data visualization takes you inside the hurricane. The precipitation satellite has an advanced radar that measures both liquid and frozen water. The brightly colored dots show areas of rainfall, where green and yellow show low rates and red and purple show high rates. At the top of the hurricane, where temperatures are colder, blue and purple dots show light and heavy frozen precipitation. The colored areas below the dots show how much rain is falling at the surface.
