The Brown Creek Trail runs through an exceptionally dense and lush old-growth redwood forest in a shallow ravine. It’s signed closed because of a bridge out but there was an easy, safe go around.
The trailhead is on Drury Parkway. From the Elk Prairie visitor center, drive north past the Big Tree wayside, then park at the second access on your right. https://www.google.com/maps/dir//41.38762,-124.01733/@41.387885,-124.017105,13562m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m4!4m3!1m0!1m1!4e1?hl=en
