Filmed at ConcertLab Utrecht in VR180, this project breaks traditional concert perspective. Breath, gesture, impact, and silence are captured from within the ensemble — a view normally reserved for the musicians themselves.
*About the Colin Currie Quartet*
Formed in 2018, the Colin Currie Quartet presents bold and exciting music for percussion quartet with breathtaking artistry. Comprising Colin Currie, Owen Gunnell, Adrian Spillett, and Sam Walton (also core members of the Colin Currie Group), the ensemble has earned international acclaim for its performances at the BBC Proms, Wigmore Hall, NCPA Beijing, and leading festivals across Europe. Known for premiering new works alongside classics of the repertoire, they bring a unique vitality to chamber percussion performance.
